WHile doing research on the topic of euthanasia and Alzheimers in The Netherlands, I came across a lot of questions and decisions that were nearly impossible to answer.

When is it still okay to euthanize a patient with Alzheimer?
Can a family make this decision for them?
How good is their quality of life?
How can you tell that they still want to be euthanized when their Alzheimer has progressed much further then just the first stage?

And so on and so on. I came up with a visualization that tries to answer the question on who should decide what is best regarding euthanasia with Alzheimer. The diagram represented throws you for a loop. The question will never be answered, we are not the ones that should decide on the life of the individual. They should be the ones that decide on their own life.
