Kotskip 2.0.

When I was little we had a caraffe at home in the shape of a chicken. It was one of those overly decorated Tuscan caraffes. We called it the “kots kip” [puking chicken in Dutch] because the water came out of its beak.

So when I was asked to design a caraffe based on an animal, I couldn’t help but wanting to make a new kots kip. One that wasn’t so decorative but simplified to its bare geometric shapes.

Underneath you can find the technical drawings I made for the model as well as for the ceramic mould that is needed to create the caraffe.
